Are you running default All-Star? I need to get some time to give a good test. I was only able to get in a few games with my settings in place and I couldn't tell what was the result of the patch and what wasn't in terms of shooting numbers.

I've noticed players drop the ball more as well. Just randomly, while dribbling. It was never clear to me why it happened though. I think it could be the result of too much isomotion usage?

Just played a game on Pro...I was the Nuggets vs. Hornets (CPU) Nuggets (ME) 104- Hornets 96

Nuggets: 55% Hornets 44%

Nuggets 5 turnovers Hornets 10

Nuggets O. Rebs 2 Hornets 12

My FG sliders were 42, 47, 47 (Close, Med, 3)

It seemed like a realistic game of basketball; might have to try all-star with the same sliders and see what I get....

Do the shot tendencies in the sliders work? I haven't changed CPU shot selection since the patch.

I was checking out some shot charts of actual NBA games, and I notice that teams only attempt less than 20% of shots in the paint. Most shots are from 3 or Mid.....I'm gonna try raising shot selection Mid to 100 and lower Shoots Inside to almost 0 and see what happens.

As someone has mentioned earlier in the thread, Bosh, Calderon and Bargnani's shots have been adjusted post-patch. Calderon's release is still a tad slow though.

Post-Patch discoveries(some already mentioned):

-CPU throws far more errant passes post-patch.

-Backing someone down is the post is pretty much non-existent. Even when a centre with a high post off rating against a wing player.

- The pace of the overall game seems more frenetic post-patch. Can't quite put my finger on it. CPU makes offensive descisions much quicker now. Maybe it's just me...

-New contact animations when transitioning from dribble drive to layup.

- I have been playing on All Star difficutly since I got the game but post-patch, I find All-Star a little easier. I've bumped my difficulty up to Superstar. Hopefully realistic games can be had with this difficulty.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I think Lebron's dunk package has been edited.

Well i played a game Lakers (me) vs Bucks (cpu) in my assoc. post patch.

the score was LA 108- MIL 68

bucks shot 46%FG and 26% 3pt
Lakers 53% Fg nd 34% 3pt

Bucks 36 PIP
Lakers 47 PIP

needless to say this has been my statline lately not alot of blowouts as this is. but even in my close games since the patch. i have been able to play much better defense in the paint not any old joe can come in and dominant in the paint no more. bynum and gasol are blocking shots left and right. which is leading me to play better perimeter defense Redd who i played pre patch scored 54 on me something like 70% shooting. this game post patch i held him to 12 points on 6-14 shots and this time around he was actaully taking jump shots infact overall teams have been taking much more jump shots on me.

as for back to basket post play gone.im getting more post moves off i did not know how to do. from spins, to drop steps hell in even get push on the backdown depending on the position i have down low on the block. this has even open the floor for me as teams start doubling me alot lately and i been getting alot of open jumpers im even hitting cutters in stride now. hell bynum had a triple double in this game 14 pts, 11 Rebs, 10 Ast.

It's all about your position (where you start to back someone down). If you don't have position, your player will not back the guy out.

Pass the ball out, reset your post positioning, feed the ball back in and you'll see him start backing the guy down (as long as it isn't Derek Fisher on Shaq).

You can't start posting up with bigs outside on the perimeter post-patch.

i agree im finding all star to be quite easy (post patch) looks like im going to have to bump it up.

i do hate the fact they have not fix the transition from Dribble to shot.. i hate the little delay it always messes up my shot timing.
