Very very impressed, game feels great, the new animations are great, the AI feels improved, the opening intro thing highlighting star players great touch, crowd sounds great, and the controls feel tight as hell. My one question is this, why the hell didn't NHL2k9 recieve the same treatment?

I stil don't see the leap in graphics....still reminds me of 2K8...I do like how the players have weight to them, and have noticed some different layups and such....I really wasn't blown away with this game. Probably won't be a day-one purchase for me.

i love the feel of the game. the off ball movement is awesome. you don't HAVE to run plays anymore because your guys will set picks, come off screens, etc. on their own.

the gold on the lakers uniforms is off. it needs to be more yellow.

still don't have isomotion down with the ps3 controller yet. can't wait to get the game on 360.

between this demo and the socom demo my two favorite games right now are freaking demos...

Re: NBA 2K9 Demo Available, Post Impressions Here

I have the 360 version

All i have to say is if this demo represents the finish product graphicly, then it stinks. If I remember, the 2k8 demo had the gameplay cut down but the graphic where about the same as the retail version. So if that trend is continued then 2k took 3 step backwards in the graphics department IMO.

Things I noticed Graphically right away:
1. The game runs on 720p (which should at least 1080!) while players seem to be running on a lowere 480i res.

2. The player filtering is so severe to the point where when the game zooms in on cut scenes, its almost like there are different player models on the floor(It also doesn't help that the cut scenes aren't at their best frames per second).

3. Courts are just ugly when it comes to pictures and fonts on the floor. What makes it stand out is fact that the lighting and wood tectures are great which makes things like the Celtic logo look like a blurry bitmap add-on

Things like player faces, gameplay and animations are nothing short of amazing, but I already knew that they were second to none in that department. I was just hoping that tectures and graphics will be up to par.

Hopefully this is just a demo and not the finished product.

I do not see what your seeing. my tv calibrated and the demo looks photrealistic(not "at" times but all the time)if theres one thing i can say about the game is that it's almost perfect visually
