NBA 2K9 Features List *Updated

I want some sort of draft show, it's such a big thing in real life it gets so much attention, coverage, analysis, interviews etc. and I want them to fix the rookies which where abysmal in 2k8, it gets harder to play the franchise mode a few years out because of stupid looking faces, unrealistic tans, afros, crappy ratings what kind of rookie PG gets a passing rating of 50, is slow, can't shoot for ****, man go play in cba or somewhere like the sixth Italian league if they want you, and why do all rookies have some sort of skin disease, jesus it begs for more attention such a great game except that part, I want to hear improvement in that area not dna.

Yes, they do.

However, very similar information is available out there through other means. So 2k would be able to implement something similar if they wanted to. Just not through Synergy.

Honestly, I wouldn't want that 365 feature. If somebody has an off-night and I download that roster the next day, I don't want them to play passive just because they did the night before. That's dumb. ahh so dumb

2K has been doing "DNA" aka TENDENCIES, since 2k6, so it's not groundbreaking. Just give me updates every month or so, or I download better ones from PortlandBlazer.

And really, with 2K share, we'll be able to basically do instantaneous roster updates ourselves. Obviously online games wouldn't be affected, but if we can play custom games using the rosters, then you can still play online with current rosters.. just not ranked.

Well, that's where people are wrong about Live's system. Tendencies and such are only updated every 10 days or so. Rosters are updated nightly. Synergy is collecting the information but you shouldn't see any changes outside of every 10 day span.

There's a lot of misinformation out there on the feature.

Exactly what I was thinking, dumb move by EA but what do you expect from them, let them have their own season and let me have mine, I don't want my player shooting bricks because Yao got busy with a couple of hookers a week ago.

There weren't any changes in the A.I. post patch CHOOPS 2K8. The animations were better, I think, and team attributes seemed to be affected. The AI wasn't any better, though. You could still bring the ball up court and dribble at the top of the key until the shot clock ran out. The same applies for the CPU PG. FYI, it's 'imagine', not 'image'.

I agree I think the overall tendencies are better than having a player play the way he did 2 nights ago. The only thing that impressed me about the 365 was the generic editable player that would be placed on the team if he was becoming a factor throughout the season, that beats starting over your association midseason to create a sleeper.
