Re: The Transfer Thread

Honestly though, it's hard to sift through the BS these days. So many "journalists" that will literally just make stuff up to get clicks.

For those that don't know or are new, here's a real quick short list of sources that are generally at least somewhat reliable:

BBC
DiMarzio (journalist)

Honestly that's about it. Beyond that, each club will have a couple journalists that are reliable for them and then only. For Chelsea it's Matt Law.

Maybe we could compile a list and have a stickied post about it? Or put it in the OP. I don't know if you guys care enough but it could be helpful I guess.

i just use espn fc's transfer's blog and enjoy the idiocy that comes with it.

Honestly thats the best part of the summer and winter window, seeing all the made up rumors that people can come up, some folks dont even bother making up new rumors, they just recycle them. As such I am eagerly awaiting the Bale/Neymar/CR7 to United news to break any minute now

Re: The Transfer Thread

For team specific stuff I always look for local journalists, particularly those who are actual fans. A great one for Liverpool fans is usually Tony Barrett who comes from the city, but he now works for the team so I doubt he will be released info anymore

Do you know if he 'passed the torch' to someone? He's gotta have someone he'll be leaking stuff to if he can't do it himself.

Until your boy Woj starts covering footy your guess is as good as mine.

We all kinda just sift through the BS until like Kreb says, the official club twitter page welcomes them showing the photo of the holding up their new uni.

I guess Bernardo means David's days are numbered. Silva on Silva crime.

Re: The Transfer Thread

If he stays with 4-2-3-1 I think it'll be David as one of the two and then Sane - KDB - Bernardo Silva
