Huge goal for the Wild with 22 secs left in the 2nd to go up 2-0.

It's kinda crazy, at this point. It's the same every time. Avs come out fast, trying to hit the hell out of the Wild to get them off their game, and the Wild just ride out that storm and wait for the Avs to make a mistake, and pounce on it. After the Wild score first it's game over.

I'd fire everybody.
If the streak ended, would Ilitch dump Holland like he did Dombrowski?

How high were your expectations this year? New coach and transition toward the younger roster (for the first time in forever), and you already wanna blow it up?

The "transition toward the younger roster" has been happening for years. It is not working because Holland has allowed the blueline to rot. He has tried to thread the needle by continuing the playoff streak while also transitioning with the youth movement, and it's crashing and burning this year.

Blashill can stay. I'd fire Holland.

Re: NHL 2015/16 Regular Season

It's obvious why Vancouver is tied with Edmonton in points right now, but the real question is what the hell was/is Aquilini thinking these past few years? I guess Linden and Benning are to blame too, but their decisions seem so absurd they couldn't have possibly come up with them on their own. Seems like Aquilini hired a couple of yes men.
