not really Kiper. I liked what Kiper said about Newton, he said he should start right away and they should sign a vet to show Cam the way to handle meetings/Mon-Sat work and they should trade Clausen to get good value.
Clausen should get another chance. Not all QBs has a Sam Bradford season. He actually fits the Panther's new offense. But Cam brings excitement, will fill seats, and will make excellent plays. They can be a run-first offense and slowly add more plays

Christian Ponder, worst pick in 2011 draft?

Ive seen him play a few times, and there is no way he is a first round draft pick. What were the Vikings thinking, who idea was this, they alt to be fired.

Mel Kiper. The guy who said Jimmy Clausen was the steal of last year's draft? The guy who said Mike Williams was a HOF'r? The guy who said Matt Leinart was a steal? My point is, these guys miss as much as anyone on players.

Not one guy on ESPN can hold a candle to Mayock. It's not even close. Mayock has actually had teams offer him front office jobs. You think any team would ever hire Kiper or McShay for a personnel job? Nope.

Agree completely. One thing I like about Maycock is he can tell you WHY he likes a player in football terms. He breaks it down. Kiper just gets going all high energy talking about how much he likes a player because he's "insert generic football term".
