Love? Where did you get love from me disputing that the firing was validated? LOL Come on now. Is Lebron a closet laker fan for saying Mike Brown didn't get a fair shake? My main point is with the recent level of competition I would expect the offense to look good, but at the same time it didn't look good against the Spurs and Mike Brown wasn't coaching that game. On the other side when they played the Pistons did the offense not look good? That's all I'm saying. I'm not a Mike Brown fan at all. Not sure why you were reaching with your post.

Who cares what LeBron thinks? Lol

Actually I think LA looked pretty good against the Spurs on both ends. They just couldn't make a few plays down the stretch to seal a victory.

Really though, the big thing isn't wins and losses as much as it's about them looking confident. It's about them playing to their strengths and knowing their reads and spacing. It doesn't matter who their opponents have been, they've been able to actually play as a cohesive unit on offense. Dwight actually touches the ball in the paint now and has passing lanes if the double comes [look at Morris actually getting some three's]. Under Brown they weren't only losing they looked miserable in the process.

Didn't watch the Laker game. But I see alot of people happy about the improvements the Lakers made. Do people really see them as improvements?

I cant really tell the sarcasm level on this one but Id say there is no reason to not see them as improvements. The team looks way better than they did to start the season for whatever reason that may be.

If I were a Lakers fan Id be excited that we dont look completely terrible anymore.

The Nets vs. Lakers game on Tuesday should be a good test for LA.

Steve Blake should be back by then and D'Antoni should be making his debut. He also should have incorporated a lot more offensive concepts by then.

And judging by how they looked tonight with D'Antoni only there for a couple days, the more the merrier; they can only get better. I can only imagine how good they'll be when Steve Nash returns and is healthy.

---

Also the firing of Mike Brown was a completely prudent, validated and justified course of action. Compare their W/L record to when they had him to now. They couldn't even best the Mavs or Portland before. With a few more reasonable moves they could have taken out the Spurs -- one of the top teams in the league. ALL with the absence of Ebanks, Blake and Nash (not to mention the bench guys like Johnson Odom, Earl Clark, and their best cheerleader in Robert Sacre). They didn't even have D'Antoni then.

Point is, they look worlds better. Anyone in denial of that is biased in my opinion. Tonight was actually looking a little like Showtime 2.0 out there. When it's all set and done, this team might actually be a championship caliber team. I mean, the system fits Nash perfectly. This is literally the type of system he thrives in as he's won 2 MVPs under it. Looks like it's a good fit for everyone else too.

P.S. Dwight isn't even completely healthy yet. If you think about it the idea of this team when they get everything together is actually a bit scary.

Heard the samething being said before the season.

Lakers are one of the teams where you have to take it game by game with them, especially with a coaching change.

Maybe the improvements stem from the Lakers playing more games together, This is still a newly assembled team that or the level of competition they've been facing since Brown was fired.
