Re: NBA Lockout and Collective Bargaining Agreement Discussion

By the way, he's basically saying that the guys who market the players, allow the players an arena to play in, a league to play in and pay them salaries, that they should not make more money than their employees.

How in the hell does that system work?

.Hunter & his crew will walkout

I could promise everyone on this forum that will happen.
Its either they wont make a deal on saturday or they will schedule to another meeting in the next few weeks.

Honestly im tired of this games their playing, before they even enter the meeting .. why dont they notify eachother & say "No meeting UNLESS were 150% sure we will get a deal done, if not then lets keep cancelling games & games until the season gets cancelled. This ish has been happening for how long now? last meeting was even worse, they got us all happy & hopes up. I swear I was so optimistic that I was going to bet that the season will start on Dec 1st. & were going to have 82 games, but that does NOT look like it so far, lets just be clear guys.. everything I mentioned above will be happening... walk in the meeting & they will walkout with nothing, every single meeting same crap. Im tired of this i swear... season opener was suppose be on tuesday.. so so sad omg!! my season opener was 2k12. I really dont know what to think anymore but this is seriously getting out of hand , the players are so stupid man .. ACCEPT THE DAMN OFFER! & start playing ball man.

P.s Nothing is happening this saturday, it will turn out to be a FAIL. Im done being optimistic from now on , officially done
Whos with me?
I agree, just get it done and put the ball in the hoop. But thankfully college bball is around the corner.

Does anyone else think they could charge money to broadcast the closed door negotiations on PPV?

At least they'd make a few cents while losing millions.

I can't believe they're really not going to have a season. Schmucks.

Re: NBA Lockout and Collective Bargaining Agreement Discussion

I wish that espn and tnt/tbs would sue the league for lost revenue by not broadcasting games..

Re: NBA Lockout and Collective Bargaining Agreement Discussion

I'm not entirely sure that the NBPA could pass a decert vote. It'd be close, though.

Basically, this is the last card the NBPA can pull. They know it's a bad idea yet it's the last bullet in the chamber. If they cannot hit on this one, then it's all over and up to the owners when they want to end it.
