The Spurs own the 2nd best Playoff-Making percentage in NBA history.

They've made the playoffs 28 times in their 32-year NBA history. That's 87.5%. Counting their ABA days, they are 36 for 41 (87.8%).

Highest is the Lakers with 55 playoff appearances in 60 years (91.7%).

Only the Lakers, Celtics, 76ers, Knicks, Pistons, Hawks, and Kings have made the NBA playoffs more times, and the Spurs have played 27 YEARS less than any of those teams... AT THE LEAST.

The Sixers only have 2 chips, but did make 6 other Finals appearances, including 1 in every decade aside from the 90s.
LOL at the Spurs being pretty bad... look at my last post and you'll realize what you said was just awful.

and P2K... the Philadelphia Warriors and the 76ers are not the same franchise. I'm sure you know that, so you can't really include them both in the same discussion though.

It's fine if people want to say Golden State, then. No problem with that. Just pointing out that despite the Warriors being good after leaving Philadelphia, that it was when they were in Philly that made the Warriors the franchise they are.

For me.

1. Lakers
2. Celtics
3. Pistons
4. Bulls
5. Sixers

I am torn on the Bulls. They had an unbelievable championship run. I think in the mid 90's the league was really down, so imo, that takes a bit away from it. Problem with the Bulls they've had long, long stretches of being really bad, before MJ, and post MJ. So I just can't put them higher than #4, and probably should have put them lower.

They did win a championship in Philly but the two times they made the finals with Wilt, they were in San Fran. On second thought, I'd drop Warriors below the Sixers, Knicks, and Bulls. They did win two NBA championships and 1 BAA championship but they haven't won a division or conference title since 1976. The Run T-M-C team was fun but it really didn't do much.
