Re: Anyone else enjoy doing yard work?

Mine grows uneven, but I attribute that to more sunlight in certain spots in spring, and more shade in others during hot parts of summer.

Re: Anyone else enjoy doing yard work?

I hate yard work, but I'm also too much of a cheapskate and too picky to let someone else do it.

My yard currently looks the worst it ever has in my six years of living here because I haven't been able to cut my grass in over two weeks due to being hurt two weekends ago and all of the rain over the past week. Hopefully, I can knock at least some of it out this afternoon, assuming it's not still too wet.

If I had a smaller yard I'd go the Brady Bunch route:

But what I really love is shoveling snow. I can't really explain it, but I love it.
I love shoveling snow as well.

My dad did this, he called the superdome and got the same type of turf for his backyard lol. Overkill as a mofo, but should last a long time. Entire backyard was cemented, with drain lines put in, then covered with a rubber pad thing & artificial turf.

Yeah man, at night before bed or first thing in the morning when it's just you, a shovel and a couple hundred cubic feet of snow. Oh and don't forget the Rocky IV soundtrack for the ultimate training sequence feeling, haa!

Re: Anyone else enjoy doing yard work?

I hate cutting my parents yard. They have so many things in the yard that I have to cut in and go around that it disrupts having any flow.
