So, when you patrol, and there is the special target mission, be careful. Those dudes are lvl 40 now. Got wrecked by an Archon Priest.

Hit 40 and I'm off. Only took turning in the bounties, talking to everyone in the tower you're supposed to talk to, doing the first story mission, unlocking my subclass, and maybe like 4 missions on patrol. Still only at like 205 light though. It's kinda like your first time leveling again. All greens and blues for me except my ghost and class item. Can't even do the nightfall yet.

Btw, the heroics are lvl 41. Guess we'll have to continue to endure over leveling.

I'm not getting the Veteran Tour quest? I deleted the shader, sparrow, and emblem on all my characters, but it still not popping up. Guess I need to get the TTK for it.

Yeah, leveling is really quick. I did the first Taken King mission and the new subclass quest. At the end of those, I was 35. Then went to the tower and used a focused light, handed in all my saved up public event rewards and was 40.

looks like only 1 VIP ghost per account. you can only do the veteran tour once per account, and there is no Ghost kiosk.

don't think you can, the Vangaurd marks converted into Vanguard Commendation. If you had 200 marks, you would have gotten 4 Vanguard Commendations.

So you just "use" the commendations in your inventory to get the marks?

it doesn't give you marks. it give reputation toward Vangaurd/faction.
