I think the game is pretty well balanced in crash site mode to be honest, hunter mode is a bit of a different story though. The only things that might need tweaking that I have noticed would be the damage radius of air stomp and grenades possible being a tad too large.

I can safely say that I love crash site mode. I have found myself playing this for 3 or so hours every night since it came out. Something I find wildly entertaining is trolling people who are trying to play the game like COD. Favorite tactic is to jump straight over somebody's head when they have the advantage and take them down before they even have time to react. I have also gotten pretty good at shooting people in mid-air with shotty, which is always entertaining. I just love the frantic pace of this games MP. In one round you can literally go from air stomping 2 people, to taking somebody out in mid air the next second, and finish it off by throwing somebody out of the Pinger.
I agree. Cloaking is fine and a lot of fun. I don't get peoples beef with it. It wouldn't be Crysis without it.

I went back and played some Crysis 2 as well this week, and noticed in comparison to the Crysis 3 demo that the cloaking in the demo lasts longer than in Crysis 2. Maybe I'm wrong, but it just seems tat way.

Actually I didn't think about the length, I didn't play Crysis 2 MP extensively past the first couple of weeks so I am not sure how it compares to the beta in that regard. Maybe Candyman is refering to the length, since it seems like the actual effect is pretty well balanced as they are still visible to a certain extent. The thing is you have to anticipate where enemies may be cloaked at and it becomes rather easy to spot them since people tend to cloak in the same spots (around the crash pods, etc.)

Also just in case people didn't know there is thermal vision that can spot enemies in cloak You can actually tag cloaked enemies while in thermal vision. Personally I haven't used, but it is there.

Also just in case people didn't know there is heat vision that can spot enemies in cloak (up on the d-pad I believe). You can actually tag enemies while in heat vision.
Well if there is so much balance its a little weird that everyone is using cloak then. I'm tired of 90% of the time I get killed its somebody sitting somewhere with the cloak on waiting. And Nano Vision being up on the DPad is a horrible place for it, by the time I think theres a Enemy cloaked and go to use it your already dead. I have to check the control schemes and see if I can put it somewhere else. You can also spot people by just tapping up on the DPad without holding it down. Worst thing is that Maximum Armor is useless against cloaked enemies since once your shot your armor boost gets zapped immediately.

Cloaking Positives: Get a ridiculous Damage boost (Pair that up with the SMG and you wont be killed 90% of the time), Hard to see and almost completely invisible when your not moving.
Clocking Negative: When you do see them they are easy to kill.

Same problem I had with the first game. Always people cloaked because thats the dominant power. Whats worse is that I dont seem to see a "Perk" that allows you to counter it. Hunter should but for some stupid reason its only "uncloaked" enemies you see footsteps of. It should be the longer your in cloak the easier it is to see you. Like the lower the power left, that would balance it a bunch since then you have to be more tactical with when you use it.

Maybe its my TV and me needing to mess with some of my settings but I cant see cloaking enemies as easily as everyone else can. Only way I have been able to counter it is by cloaking all the time myself which sucks since I like the Armor ability and Vision more.

Just curious, what size TV are playing on? I mean in my experience the red outline is definatly visible most of time, but it very well may depend on people's individual setups.

Honestly to me I think the auto armor ability is much more annoying than being killed by somebody cloaked. I just don't see how the game is unbalanced toward cloak when one of the default abilities gives people auto armor when they are shot, including by people in cloak. Like you said you take alot more damage if your shot while cloaked, so to me that is pretty big downside.

I think 40-42 inch. Maybe 38. Can't remember, lol. The auto armor is cancelled out by the cloaking btw. When a cloaked enemy shoots someone it automatically reduces you energy to 0 so auto armor is useless.

Re: Crysis 3

To counter cloak use the nanovision ability. It's pretty much like infrared.

Re: Crysis 3

Watched this vid where the guy pointed out that if you stay still while cloaked the energy bar doesn't deplete unless moving. Don't like the idea of this should deplete regardless if your still or moving. He also points out 1 energy bar should be used instead of 2 for both cloaking & armor mode.
