Yeah, he usually sticks around. I have him, he is a house.
Performance>All, this is a good guide to follow. However, I have a coach with 1 performance, but 5 learning/str/int development, which I think is better.

Fantastic. It can be had pretty cheaply right now, and there's no reason why you shouldn't have it, especially if you're a die-hard football fan.

Yeah, it's better if you're really into Football. If you are a casual fan, this might not be for you, but for the price, you should try it.
It's not perfect, but it's way better than any other franchise mode on the big games.

What i usually judge is their performance. if its not around a 4 or 5 then i let them go unless like they are maxed out on everything

Re: Thoughts on Changing Coaches?

I fire just about every coach at the end of the first season and spend alot of time checking the new ones out. I will save then hire, so I can see what all of the max skills are. I hate doing this, but I dont like not being to know anything about the coach. I will also write down when they come out. But I know there are certain ones that come out in every game at the same time (DB Coach Duncan comes out after the SB).

But once I get the coaches I want I try to build them up and keep them as long as I can. I think that after they max out though the players tend to stagnante. I cant prove that...but my WR coach is at a 90+ now and my receivers are dropping more passes than ever before.
