Re: How is your dynasty going

I finished the regular season 10-2. I lost to Clemson and Florida. Beat UNC to win the ACC title. Will play Arizona in the Orange Bowl. Had plenty of All-Americans. Famous Jameis is first team All-ACC and made the freshman AA team. Wondering how I won the conference but Clemson is ranked ahead of me. Guess because they beat me. Oh well, I get them next year at Doak. Them and Florida.

Feeling very excited about this, should have a really fun time with the Hokies. I've done some roster editing for the ACC to give a little extra beef to some lesser than teams without making them studs, and other things that should keep things interesting.

Caps will be limited to 3 per season, first come, first serve. I like Lopakas idea of not updating or bothering with caps for those who don't at least make an occasional appearance here... so I'll follow the same idea.

Go Hokies!

I'll be moving Tulane to the ACC when we get good enough. Could've went to the SEC, but Tulane has great academics, just like the rest of the ACC. Can't wait to face you guys!

Re: How is your dynasty going

I just capped off my 2nd season as a HC in my Coaching Career dynasty, finishing 12-1 (8-1) with UNC in 2019. We appeared to be national championship bound at one point, however a crushing loss in double overtime 41-38 to Virginia Tech spoiled the season for the Tar Heels and ended any hopes of a conference championship as well.

Below, you can find the history of this dynasty to date. I have a very good squad returning for next year, led by my Heisman Trophy candidate at running back (2,800 yards and 36TD through his first two seasons).

Bio: When Coach Sportsbuck came to UNC, he was in need of a dual threat quarterback to run his spread attack, however he inherited a roster full of pocket QB's. He found a diamond in the rough in the form of Powers, who was buried at WR but had servicable passing abilities. Utilizing his legs to set up the rest of the offense, Powers helped to lead the Tar Heels to an 18-2 record as a starting QB and finished as the runner-up for the Heisman Trophy as a senior. He missed 7 games as a junior with a leg injury, so it's impossible to know just how successful he might have been then too.

I save a file before I look through my Coaching offers. I look through all my options and go back and choose the best fit for me.

Re: How is your dynasty going

In Year 1 as the OC at Duke playing on Hiesman

Currently we're 8-0 (4-0) after escaping Virginia Tech 27-24 on a last second field goal

I'm level 7 on the coaching tree

We run the read option mostly, with QB Anthony Boone and Running Backs Jela Duncan and Josh Snead.. Boone is a Hiesman candidate with 153/236 roughly 1600 Yards on 11 TD/ 7 INT and 190 Carries, 1274 Yards and 10 TD's.. We're up to 6th in the polls despite the close games recently (35-33 Win at UVA and 27-24 win at VT).. We lead the country in scoring at 42 PPG..

On the recruiting side it's going well, found a gem from a 1 star SS, who has a 75 Rating, Landed the #3 QB in the class whos at 80, as well as a 4 star HB who's at 70.. I wish the game would stop setting up visits, they make them too early.. We got 13 recruits coming week 11, which i figure to be alot..

I'm surprised that playing on Hiesman we haven't lost, though Duke's early schedule up to VT is pretty winnable..

Re: How is your dynasty going

Finally, after playing numerous Dynasties, I finally win the BCS National Championships with Nebraska (11-1). Getting there involved a little luck as we were #3, with Cincinnati and South Carolina #1 and 2 respectively. The only Conf Championship game during the season was South Carolina and Alabama. Bama pounded the Gamecoks 52-20 to vault me to #2. I simulate flying down to Tuscaloosa to give Saban handpounds and man hugs for giving us an opportunity to play for a National Championship. We destroy Cincinnati 45-14.

I'm the OC for the Huskers, and the only HC job I was offered was North Texas and Wake Forest. I decide to stay at Nebraska, despite losing Taylor Martinez and some depth on defense.
