Man I don't know what is going on with your guys LB's but this is 2 years in a row now. If u guys would save this info for me so it's faster when I update Bama next time.

- RB- Slade is #4
- LB- Katshir is #45
- DB- Gordon is #19

Texas plays a base nickel with a odd man front. It’s the 3-3-5 nickel with two high safeties. Not the 3-3 Stack with a single high safety. The base nickel with a four man front takes out the LOLB. The 3-3-5 Nickel usually found in 3-4 playbooks subs a nickel for one of the two MLBs for the 3-4 teams. Texas would base from a 3-4 if that was their base defense. Their linebackers would be B-Backer (ROLB), Rover (The left inside backer), Mac (The right MLB), and F-Backer (LOLB). Technically, the Nickel in Texas’s scheme subs in for the F-Backer and is to the field side. The game doesn’t sub out that way.
