Wait, Spooky, you think Burkhead is a power back? What makes you think that? He's a scat back. Quick burst back. Hardly a downhill runner, power runner.

I'm a little scared to mess with speed/acceleration/agility ratings. I get the feeling it takes a bit of testing to see how they change with locomotion now. If I had to edit Burkhead, I'd give him high acceleration, high agility, and a decent speed. Maybe something like 84-88SPD, 92ACC, 92AGI.

WRs/TEs:
--->Set WR/TE Mike McNeill as starting TE and #4 WR, you'll have to formation sub him in for some sets at WR though. Also his last name was misspelled, so I added the 2nd "L"
First thing I did. Mike in the slot globally just wasn't right.

I don't think he's a power back like you think of John Clay or something, but of the two (Burkhead and Helu), Burkhead is more of the north/south runner, so I adjusted the ratings to show that.

Re: My Husker Ratings Edits

+10 strength
+1 Broken Tackles
+2 Truck

-4 Elusiveness
-2 speed

The way the player will run(north south vs east west) is controlled by the user, not ratings. Those ratings adjustments just dont seem accurate, to me. You made him slower, less elusive, and bumped ratings that make a player more of a 'bruiser'.

I would encourage you to go back and rewatch games with Burkhead in it.

Not trying to be a dick, and maybe my ratings were a bit too drastic for him, but he is certainly not a guy who jumps around and runs like Helu. He can make people miss like any other RB, sure, but Burkhead finds a hole and goes for it, whether someone is in there or not. From what I've seen, he's much more interested in putting his head down and driving it into a defensive player than he is in jumping around and risking a few yards to try and get more.

Here is a video of some of his '09 highlights. Note how, yes he can make people miss, but he just finds holes and plows into people if they are there:

McNeill will be all over the field this year, both in the slot and with his hand down in TE sets. Also expect to see him in the backfield as an H-back.

I like Burkhead as you have him. He's a very North/South runner IRL, and he gets the job done this way in the game.

Re: My Husker Ratings Edits

On paper, it just looks like he's a bruiser back. I guess the results in the game are what's important.
