I also, I have played a couple of games but not realistic as of yet.I do not have the experience or patience to do sliders as well as others on this forum.

Re: NBA Live 10 - First Adjustments

These are the sliders that I'm playing with right now:

Game Speed: -1
Air Collision: -20
Long Range Shooting: -3
Shot Blocking: -5
Shooting Fouls: +8
Reaching Fouls: +8
Superstar Level
Manual Subs
9 min Quarters

The flow of the game with this sliders is very realistic and the collisions feel and look way more natural than at default which happens way too much and overdone. 12 minute quarters creates a problem for rebounding which will get some players to grab over 20 rebs a game. 9 minute quarters seems about right with pts, stls, rebs, blocks, assists, etc.

Is anyone else having a tough time hitting open threes? I swear I shoot the same % of open threes as when I am draped.

Rebounds = the CPU basically gets no offensive rebounds at default.

Once these are fixed...this game will be sweet.
I haven't seen the rebound issue, CPU has been getting their share (occasionally more-so) against me. Agreed on the other three issues, though FWIW we know that the patch will be addressing the frequency of FT attempts.

Re: NBA Live 10 - First Adjustments

Last night for kicks.....I lowered the CPU stealing ability slider all the way down, and ran around with Tony Parker against the MAVS, did not see one steal animation were the user player would get picked clean when he makes contact with the CPU defender. I then raised it from (0) to (25...yes I counted every single click to the right) and it gave me about the same effect with Tony P, but once I tried to do a lot of dribbling with Tim Duncan, he was picked, which was exactly what I wanted to see.

I wasn't getting no steals at all out of the box, and trying to pick off passes from the CPU was fustrating cause my players wouldn't respond to the steal button when I tried to intercept the passes. I moved the USER steal ability and Intercept slider to the right about (20) clicks and seen that the button was more responsive, I stole one pass each on ball and mid pass, so I'm glad to see that is responding well.

I played as the Mavs last night and was 6-14 from three, which is pretty realistic. I really think it depends on the player and where you're shooting from on this game. I hit three wide open threes with Kidd, and Howard (2) and Terry (1) both hit from the corner. I attempted a few with Marion, but he was unable ta make any.
