NBA 2k17 PC Performance

I have an old GPU (R9 270X) and the game runs smoothly at 3440-1440 (50 FPS) with everything on high. Looks great.


Seems only as demanding as 2K16.


I am going to upgrade my video card soon (debating 1070 or 1080)...so I will up everything to ultra when I get that.

Got home and fired up 2k17 in fear from what I've been reading.

Plays exactly like 16. Stutter for intro and cutscenes and solid 60ish fps.

Same thing, runs with no problems with everything maxed out, same as 2K16

I have a 1070 and i7-4790k, it runs fine. Since I stream I run it in windowed mode and only 1920x1080 since I have an ultra wide monitor. it sure looks good and runs good for me. though it should.

Smooth and buttery. I installed goldenstate77's reshape settings from 2K16, and it's still smooth. Maxed out.

So major stutter between cut scenes and actual gameplay is normal for this game? Seems to run awesome during game play but anytime there's a cut scene it chugs. Surely that's not normal!

Does the music/crowd cut out at timeouts like on 2k16?

getting really bad fps compared to last year game used to run 144 fps with v sync on in games now i cant get over 90

not sure if its a bug or what
