Whilst I agree it is safe assumption, I don't understand what your point is here - do we know what 2K14 PC will be priced at? If not, whose to say it won't be double the normal?

Amazon has it listed at $30 like usual for the download and also for the DVD version.

I don't think anyone expected a Next Gen version for the PC. Really there'd be very little speculation about what parts of Next Gen PC will be getting if it weren't for that little quote JasonWilliams55 put out there from his conversation with Ronnie2k and LD2k.

I see any NG bits as totally unexpected bonuses. I just hope the file structure isn't totally different so most of the mod tools will still work. The easier the 2k13 mods are to port over to 2k14, the better.

Ah, of course - in that case then yeah, the price is probably a bit of a give away (amongst other facts).

Although I don't necessarily believe it will have to go up in price to be the NG version in the future - it may turn out to be more cost effective for 2K to go with the NG version, from some point (which may consequently be when NG comes to PC).

I'd pay 60$ for NG version instead of 30 for CG+ bits of NG with possibility of no patch.

So whats about the Retail Version? Will it be Steamworks? I like to buy a Retail-Version, but when its not Steam I probably just buy it on Steam.
