Re: PC requirments?

Hey guys, I'm getting 2k12 for the PC this year around rather than on console. Just wanted to know, do the recommended settings make the graphics look similar or better than its console counterpart? I'm building a PC within the next two weeks and just wanted to know whether I should overdo it or just do medium settings across the board.

Excited to use mods again! Haven't played a PC NBA game since maybe NBA Live 2005, lol.

Re: PC requirments?

I'd definitely at least go with the recommended settings. They aren't "that" tough to get. It's not a stressing game, but if you want to use mods, definitely go with the recommended settings. Welcome back to the dark side.

Oh, and it'll look better, more crisp than the console counterparts. A LOT.

..... And when WTF says A LOT he's not just slinging hyperbole

This card might be out of your price range but it man-handles 2k11 with no problems at 1080p, you don't need a card this powerful but it gives you the option of playing all the other big titles being released this holiday at a respectable level.

Re: PC requirments?

To be honest, I doubt it. I have a similar card in my business laptop, and it won't play it at 10FPS. Definitely need to upgrade the videocard.

Re: PC requirments?

If the requirements are the same, then it shouldn't be too expensive to upgrade to a vidcard that will run it at full speed on highest settings.

I have a Radeon 4870, and 2k11 runs perfectly. should be pretty cheap nowadays.
