Re: NBA 2K14 Video - Next-Gen Gameplay

I hope smartplay made it to NG....I also want to know if passing, rebounding and alley oops have been revamped. Picks looked to be redone and it looks great!

Man... so many questions lol.....roster updates...will it be done with STATS or was this answered already?

I know 2k took a lot of flak about players being to bulky but they need to beef up Iggy some. They need to add muscle definition.....they also need to add thinner calves....hopefully by next year these will be addressed...overall they are on the right track! Footplanting and wingspans has been something I've been asking for for years and its nice to see them implemented.

I look forward on that day when the ps4 is released! Also to the so called "PC gamers" saying that a modded 2k14 is better than what's been shown needs their eyes scooped out and have them donated to the blind. I would love to see NG graphic on PC version next year....make it happen Leftos!

I knew that the "this game has been built from the ground up" line was far from the truth. The graphics look great, but it is obvious that not many gameplay aspects have been changed. I will be interested to know what build this gameplay is coming from, because I'm not impressed. Looks like current gen with better graphics and no sliding.

I'm still buying it though. I just knew better than to expect a drastic change. Similar to when the ps3 and 360 came out years ago.

^ Exactly.

Ground up, new engine....rrrrright.

They've become the new EA.

- removing features
- add them years later and call them new
- naming features/engines

Let's be honest here. The reason 2K have tried to feed us the new engine, ground up bull is because they want us to double dip and unlike other companies, do not want to offer an upgrade option.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I'm glad is has many current gen gameplay aspects. Because it's a winning formula.

Are planning on getting the game if not stop whining about it....****...

I'm waiting on aholberts impressions on the game since he actually played it. Since 2k is known for playing the game to actually feel the changes rather than watch a vid and pass judgment. If the impressions is not to your liking then there you go... you just saved yourself a purchase. Personally I look forward to getting my hands on this new version of 2k bball.

Trailers before real gameplay show us lies. Actual gameplay once again looks a lot less attractive than trailers. But don't get me wrong, game still looks good but not so good like I was hoping.
