Felt the need to add a quick reply as I was such a big detractor of this game pre patch. Post patch I would say alot of the issues have been adressed, particularly for me would be driving the lane, at first it might not appear different but you should notice that the move will for a split second seem to freeze the defender and your able to get the separation you need to drive to the hoop, its not massively noticeable but its there.

I have onky played two games but this game has spent the last 2 months on the shelf and now I feel like I want to play it, as some one else accurately described it, its like 2k11 mark 2.0 which is exactly what I was calling for when it first came out.

I played a few games and the most noticble difference was more contact in the paint and layups not as easy.

I must have gotten unlucky because the 1st game I played online I faced off against the Bulls. This guy took 34 3's and made 13 of them. Luckily I havent seen anything like that since.

I've seen slighty less on-ball steals, but I'm seeing more deflections. It's still too easy to lose the ball while the offensive player just looks at it.

I got so use to the passing pre-patch that I didnt notice any big changes post patch. The defense plays the pass lanes more realisticly allowing for more swinging the ball along the perimiter and a few more lead passes in the paint. Occasionaly I still see the beach ball passes accompanied by this strange 180 degree turn from the passer or the person being passed to. Overall, the icon passing is a step behind and a step too slow.

The blocking is akward. You can have a defender in perfect position and press for a block and he will jump in slo-mo away from the defender.

I enjoyed the game enough before the patch to play and slight gameplay changes from the patch have made the game more balanced.

Well, for me it did, the opponent gets called for reaching fouls every so often.

Go ahead, try to steal if you want, but your player is going to get fouled out before the fourth quarter, and that can be crucial.

I love the fact that 2k upped online to Superstar difficulty post patch.

Online quick ranked that is.

I see double teams in every game I play. But only when certain players are hot or killing it. Not as soon as tip off.

I have not noticed what I see some say like

No double teaming

or

No cpu dribbling.

I see both and see it often
