I'm assuming being that's it's 1.2 that the recent patch they released was the second one. So yes.

I'm glad I had the patience to just put the game on the shelf until the patch dropped. I don't have to relearn any aspects of the game, I can just go forward with how it plays now, finally starting my Association up.

I haven't played the game in several weeks, so maybe my memory is faulty, but directional passing seems really tight now. I can actually use it 90% of the time instead of using icon passing 90% of the time.

As someone who doesn't play online or doesn't care about My Player, I'm ecstatic about this patch.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

Yup. I played 5 games online and put the game on the shelf.

I've been playing 2k since the first release. I've learned since this game has come to the next generation of video game systems that the game is unplayable until at least the first real patch.

I feel as though I have some control over my player now. Not the control from 2k8 but it's better.

My online connection before the patch would be inconsistent but now any game I play disconnects once the first whistle is blown. Is anyone else having this issue? All of the games were unranked.

Jumpshooting shotstick has finally been fixed, green shots now go in, it's about time. I don't understand how everyone considered this the greatest sports game of all-time when the most basic feature of a basketball game was literally broken. I was shooting like 18% 3pters online despite getting in green always and only taking open, now in 3 games played I'm shooting above 60 and making all my jumpers.

Has the crew issue where you randomly get losses and games not counting been fixed at all? Anyone confirm or deny I don't see it in patch notes. A joke if that's not fixed the main reason I got this game was to do crew mode.

Re: NBA 2K11 Patch v1.2 Available Now, Post Impressions Here

I think the shooting difficulty is a bit ridiculous. I think this was a problem prior to this latest patch. I've been shooting with Derrick Rose in Practice Mode for a bit now and out of the 30 or so shots I have taken where I released the shot at the apex of his jump, I have probably been told that I shot it correctly only 5 or so times.

I think that is the main reason why many of us are seeing such low percentage games on the Sim settings. It doesn't appear to matter if you release the shot at the proper apex of the player's jump, because that is not always the preferred point in which to release the shot. I can't tell you how frustrating it is to know that a basic game shooting mechanic we have known for so many years (releasing shots at the peak of a player's jump) has appeared to be compromised.

so which is it, you have to start over or no? I don't even have a My Player but the freeze that happens when you go to "quit association" back to the main menu still happens every time. Ronnie had tweeted to me that this was going to be addressed in the patch but so far everyone seems to still be complaining about it. I really hope I dont have to start ALL my associations over just for this to work

Couldn't have stated this better my self. My first game post-patch was me playing as Boston vs Miami. Pierce's jumper is eh but I usually get it down after 2-3 attempts. I was having all sorts of trouble with Ray and KG's jumper though.

After going in to practice mode, the release of the shot stick and where Ray's just about to flick his wrist are totally out of sinc. Where I would've normally released the shot stick, the indicator says I'm too late. Also, the amount of give to get green is so small now. You have to be very specific with your timing. Now that part I don't mind but if they change things back then UGH!
