I saw that as well (overuse of high glass). I just mentioned it in another thread but this seems to be the place where it's being discussed. There are certainly many times where players will use the high window to finish a shot, but not as many as 2K11 portrays. As such, some of those layups in the videos we saw looked a little unnatural.

RipCity mentioned the "dunk lay-in" and I think that'd be a great implementation. I also wouldn't mind layups at the backboard; where a player could slap the board if he wanted because he was up around the rim, yet not still not high enough to dunk. Honest question because I cannot remember well, are there layups like this (video below) in 2K right now, where it's more or less dropped in and not really shot in any way?

I liked most of everything else I saw though. A lot of those dunks look fresh and nice. I think I read something about how 2K doesn't like using animations older than 2 years in age. They had a dunking revolution last year, so hopefully combining just 2K10 dunks and 2K11 dunks, all the dunks should look great.

^^^I've seen Lebron do that often. Would be great if it was somehow incorporated into the game.

Actually, that can be done in 2K10. After running through your teammate's pick, do a quick change of direction crossover.

Sorry, should clarify. If you press the pass fake button, you will always come to a stop. There are fake pass layups, but not everyone has them.
Mike, I already tweeted you this but will ask again here anyway. Are fake passes only overhead passes? Do the game also has fake bounce passes for post-up entry situations. Game is really looking great and fresh.

Yes but the AI CPU in 2K10 never split a double team or tried to dribble out of a double team. At least I've never seen it. They either pass/lose the ball/reach-in foul/jump-ball or in rare cases shoot the ball.

Yeah AI didn't utilize all the available moves in 2k10. Have you asked Mike about this?

Sorry I don't have a Twitter account. I guess I could PM him but he has never replied back when I did a few times. However, I made a ultimate sim wishlist which Mike and the 2K Team looked at. Many of the things I wanted are in the game which is great!!

This will prevent cheap backdoor cuts/lead pass as well as providing some resistance when players try and cut to the rim.

First basketball video game to implement this animation will go a long way in the Sim department.

Also the lead pass needs to be toned down. Currently it is too fast and accurate. Needs to be fixed in two ways.

1. Lead pass is slow but accurate.
2. Lead pass is fast but not as accurate(have to gather to catch the ball).

Also the ultimate Sim wishlist. I posted this also on 2K Sports forums and also PM'd it to SimBaller here on OperationSports. He hasn't replied to me yet.

Would be much appreciated especially within this Sim community.

Please take a look and tell me what you think: http://www.operationsports.com/forum...shlist-54.html Post #539 and 540

I also posted this in the 2K Forums awhile back and got good responses: http://2ksports.com/forums/showthread.php?t=263020

After watching these vids I'm really stoked!!
