Brutally bad trade for Boston... they give away the two best players AND a first for Aldridge and an expiring backup? Aldridge always plays poorly when I'm against Portland so I'd strongly veto that trade from Boston's standpoint. They don't really get better, nor do they begin rebuilding since Aldridge and KG are such a wash in this game.

don't know why so many people are trying to break up OKC lol, they are goign to be running the west for the next 10 years with the roster they have + a rebounding big man

I agree. Usually Carlos Boozer comes out in free agency and with the thunders cap space they can get him. That is an insanely good and young lineup

that trade for randolph a page or 2 back though would be a great trade, lose thabo and a 1st rounder for anthony randolph... all the sudden you got westbrook, harden, durantula, green, and randolph... in 2 years durant will be high 90's westbrook will be high 80's harden low 80's green doesn't progress much but randolph will probably be mid 80's

Hornets send: Darren Collison
76ers send: Allen Iverson

Reason for trade: Mr. Paul needs a scorer. Undersized backcourt but even with Collison I would of been in the same boat. I personally think it's great I could get a scorer for so cheap.


Hornets send: James Posey, Ike Diogu, '10 second round pick
Magic send: Marcin Gortat

Reason for trade: If Omeka starts to suck it up, Gortat can hold down the block for the season. Or until Gray comes along.

Hornets send: Julian Wright, Sean Marks, '11 2nd round pick, '10 2nd round pick
Magic send: Matt Barnes, '10 2nd round pick

Reason for trade: Needed a younger replacement for Posey. Matt Barnes can play d and knock down the long ball (3-5 3pt FGs first game).


Now I'm not to worried with picks right now with a big free agency class on the horizon. It might hurt me down the line but right now I'm trying to win a ring or at least compete right now in the West.
