I was just wondering that myself after posting that. I'm not much of an online guy, so I haven't tried getting online. Odd thing is when I bought the game from gamersgate, there was a key code with it which I haven't had to use yet.

Either way, I recommend trying to redownload the game from gamersgate if you bought it there and have problems like me. Get a good working download because most likely you'll need all the original files when a patch comes.

EDIT: Looks like it does. I'm logged in and browsing stuff. The lobby says there are 1042 players online, but no names are showing up. NBA Today seems fine.

I have an all new problem. Playing My Player has been fine.

When I try to play a Quick Game, it won't happen. It gets to the point of Jump Ball, but the only players present are the point guards and the game won't start. The camera just changes every few seconds and nothing else happens.

I'm sure it's my download. Man this is frustrating.

Finally gave into the temptation and downloading from Steam now. I couldn't wait any longer, and it seemed that the EB Games store were clueless about the PC version

According to the official 2k10 forums its a rather common problem. Delete your settings and see what that does.

Thats just uncalled for.... how could they not fix the sound on the ball bouncing again?

Also i wonder if the framerate issues are still present? I have a monster of a pc and last year i still had framerate issues on the following specs lol

Intel QX9650 Quad Core Overclocked at 4.6ghz
8GB DDR3 System Ram
ATI 4870X2 2GB Videocard

And i STILL had framerate issues..which tells me its the engine thats poorly optimized and is why we are seeing it a 2nd year in a row on the consoles and i would bet my last dollar on the pc version this year as well.

Will it run? How about on the lowest setting?
