Dual Archetypes Confirmed... Thoughts? Combinations?

I think i'll go with shot creator/defense SG, want to be useful on both sides, and since we will be finally able to edit our body type, i think i'll build myself as a wide strong SG, something like Eric Gordon body type.

I hope (I PRAY) they don't go OP to the max with some of these builds only to nerf the hell outta them due to super unrealistic outcomes

That said I'm leaning towards a Playmaker Slasher just not sold on the height weight stuff yet.. I have lots of time to think it over though because I won't be getting into the My Career / Neighborhood scene until at least a couple months (and patches?) into the game

But man my biggest loss would be investing into a build that shines early only to see it get hella nerfed down the road and lose all its original splendor

GG tho on what they attempting to deliver here with the grind and the system all together

What would be the best lebron archetype? I feel like you can't truly replicate him because he's so unique. However, what do you guys think gets close in terms of archetypes?

Lebron would be 6'8 Slasher/PointForward

With the new triple threat system I'm cautiously optimistic that you can beat your guy by getting that explosive first step on him (and when they bothered to do it in the stream Shakedown for instance was able to beat his man fairly consistently with MJ in the triple threat at the 3 point line, even with the defender playing 2-3 feet off him, simply because he had the speed and strength to get downhill with a head of steam. And this was on Hall of Fame difficulty) rather than having to dribble spam.

Demar Derozan would be a 6'7 Shotcreator/Slasher (He settles for a ridiculous amount of contested jumpers in real life. On par with Melo. I'd say he's like Kobe, except if Kobe was going to take a contested jumper than doggone it he was taking a contested 3 with a hand in his face )

Kevin Durant build would be 6'9-6'11 Shotcreator/Sharpshooter

Kawhi is a Defender/Shotcreator in that order
Prime/Old MJ is a Shotcreator/Defender in that order
Young MJ is a Slasher/Shotcreator

The caps were different enough that the primary archetype mattered a lot (in terms of what would be the max cap) and determined what badges were gold and which were silver and bronze.

Yeah, I'm going with Shot creator/defender. Get that Kobe/MJ clone. Make me 6'6 205 lbs and max wingspan. You know the game lacks this type of player. Hopefully I get drafted by the Lakers. Ball/Me/Ingram/Randle/Lopez. Bench Clarkson, KCP, Nance Jr, Zubac.

Gonna focus on defense first season or two. Get the defensive accolades rolling and then start going ham on my opponents with post moves, stepbacks, spin jumpers, eurosteps....oooh boooooi and that triple threat. Ya know I'mma blow by some fools with jab jab jab jab jab jab jab jab jab Melo uses.

was watching one of annoyings recent videos he said when he had his sharp/lockdown build his 3 pointer was a 60 maxed lol..

i dont think these dual builds will be as crazy as you think or at least not that OP.
