The funny part since the beginning is this: there's nothing wrong with the shooting! It's the defense, fastbreaks and other crap that needs to be addressed. On a good note: played 2 games last night of NBA Today. Might be a placebo but the AI doesn't have those superhuman speed bursts and on a fastbreak it's not bumper cars anymore but you still can't throw lobs. I did 2 in a game last night and that's like finding a needle in a haystack type of thing.

I will play some games later to see if it's the same. I liked what I saw last night. 2 games isn't enough for me. Will play more NBA Today games.

At this point, I don't think the defense CAN be fixed this year, hence all of the offensive hits. A lot of that has to do with the defensive ratings, though, and the bad and sluggish animations that come with low defense ratings.

You nailed it! Also, teams need to play like their ratings too. If you're ranked 30th in everything you shouldn't play elite defense or hit every shot known to man. Both have been issues I can't stand. Too many players that are ranked low play like stars and it's not realistic at all.

My running joke right now (well Aron Baynes has been for 2 years) is the way the AI plays with Aaron Brooks he would be a strong 6th man candidate. Aron Baynes plays like prime Ewing in the recent 2K games. It's unacceptable to me that these type of players play like this on a game but are not close to being this good in real life even in D-League or in a rec.

thats not what they meant. Its just clear body types will not be updated until next cycle. There are more pressing issues in the game yet yall cry about the smallest things smh.

I don't know if it's just me, but are people really using the defensive coaching settings and the regular sliders to help them customize the game to their liking?

I find playing defense very enjoyable so enjoyable I hope that as of now for me their's not anymore patches specifically for Defense in the near future. ...Is it perfect, nope but I customized each game according to my strength and weaknesses. ...

My advice would be use the sliders they definitely work....

Simple gameplay fix they did takes 100MB at most and that's the size PC users get of gameplay patches (100-200MB). Why PS4 has to download 7.5GB worth of junk I don't know!!

And there you have Operation Sports members, 2K is just lazy. SMH, when developers stop coming here, remember posts like this one by info0!
