You were able to sign Dirk to your expansion team? What was his offer from the Mavericks like?

I believe the Mavs were giving two years for about $42M. I went a little higher at around $46M and gave him a no trade clause figuring he'd be at least a reliable player until my rookies develop and I have a ton of cap space. Mavs are in full rebuild mode

No other teams were bidding for him. He did regress slightly but he's still pretty damn effective.

It looks like there is no pre and post game commentary with an expansion team.

I don't know if they have pre and post game stuff for the pre-loaded expansion teams though.

Looks like you can not completely edit the staff? just the attributes and style? i thought we could edit their name and everything? am i missing something?

I chose to just use the real 30 teams and a few games in I got a pop up explaining how the GMs met in the offseason to discuss expansion. Im under the impression that you can add teams later on.

They'll say the city/team name, but no commentary it seems. Not sure why it can't pick up on some generic commentary, but perhaps it will do so later in the season when there's "new" material to discuss. Since an expansion team couldn't possibly have any sort of pre-written content, I'm hoping to hear more later on in the season.

Has anyone heard anything?
