Some teams could draft in round 2 - some doesn't - Same in Round 3 - 4 - 5 - 6 - 7

Starting with Round 8 all Teams was able to draft free agents and rookies

Obviously there is some logic behind all - but i do not understand it.
Leftos stated that the game pretty much ranks all the player's into tiers. If the guy you keep is one of the top 30 players in the game come draft time you do not get a first round pick. If you keep a second top 30 player or have a player that's 31-60 then you'll lose your second round pick and so on.

So I'm at the MyGm screen.

If I select 'Current NBA Teams' I know I'll start with the regular 30.

But will 6 expansion teams come later as seasons past?

I like the league expansion, I just don't want to start off with an expansion team. I'd rather have the expansion teams come later.

Also, we really need the NBA.com screen back. The social media stuff is cool but I want an organized clean place to see the happenings around the league.

Adding to that, the halftime show needs more content. Like it was when Damon Bruce did it. It's odd being in MyLeague and not having the halftime guys comment on, or even see, what else is going on around the league. Or to see an individual player spotlighted for his play. I can live without the studio show like College Hoops Tonight, though I want it badly, but give us more with what we have to convey our living NBA world.

Expansion in MyLeague and MyGM are slighty different experiences in that you cannot adjust your conferences/divisions in MyGM and are at the mercy of the game handling this.

While the game does an adequate job assigning the new teams regionally, it does not move existing teams around whatsoever to compensate, even in spots where it would make sense. For instance, instead of moving Golden State to the Northwest division, it instead added St. Louis there which doesn't make the most sense.

It's a give and take, but just know that there are a few risks going with MyGM...not to mention, you could get fired from your expansion team!

I added two teams in MyGM, the Hartford Whalers for me to use and created from scratch, and then selected the Vancouver Ravens pre-built team to go in the West. I thought the CPU handled it well. Put my Whalers in the Atlantic, no other adjustments. It then put Vancouver in the Northwest and moved the Thunder to the Southwest.

I only started last night. I spent a total of 6 hours creating and then just getting through the off-season (choose to start prior to the draft). It was frigging glorious.

Free agency turned out mostly like real life, except for two major players. I took a shout at KD, but he instead chose to stay with the Thunder. I tried to get Demar Derozan to sign with my Hartford Whalers and really thought I had a chance after the Raptors signed ....LeBron! But nope, Demar went back to Toronto, the Raptors are stacked.

Signed Dirk to a 2 year deal. So far it seems pretty well done.

Oh nice! So the game will auto adjust divisions for existing teams. Great news--that was the only reason I was considering doing MyLeague.

Will the game add the other four teams later in MyGM or?

Don't know. It was 5am and I was done!

I know during the League Meetings they voted no to any more expansion, so maybe a few seasons down the road. Would interesting to see the cpu completely handle expansion in game a few seasons later.
