Re: Post Move Variety

With the recent gameplay blog, VC and 2K seems to feel this seems to feel this way too about the post. I for one hope I can go into the post with a shaq-like player and get an easy two points over a guard or an undersized player without the need of a 95% chance post fade (a la 2k15), but instead an easy two points with brute force and grace at the same time.

The post has needed work for years to be great, but at the same time accessible to do each move - and 2K16 looks to hold that remedy

Strong work man, if you're on PSN, find me for this Pro-Am ish when 16 comes, I'm trying to beat Scott Skiles record for assists in a game, and down low work like that is going to help immensely...

Masterful to say the least.

Can't wait to try out the reworked post game with Timmy D...I already though the post game was great...

Glad they added the drop step dunk...but I hope its very limited...theres only like 2-3 guys that can do it right now

Re: Post Move Variety

If they make the post game available to everyone, they should make those with great skill seem god like compared to those with low skill. Shaq should look dominate compared to let say Marc Gasol in terms of strength and Timmy D should look more finesse than D12.

There should be a type of post play style in terms of selection, I like posting to set up a turnaround or dream shake, and I should have less skill in Shaq drop step dunk, vice versa. If they removed inside scoring grouped atts, it should change the way people play their CAPS.

When we load up our CAPs it should have:

dribble style: fast/penetrating or slow/breakdown

post: strength or finesse

triple threat: jumper (melo) or inside (LBJ)

It'd be cool of they had "post moves" packages like they do with dunks. There should be some signature moves, but also have a large bank to choose from. That way we could give someone like TD fitness smooth moves and give Dwight those stiff moves he does. Or a power banger like young Amare those quick explosive dunks while Shaq has those slow powerful throw downs that leave everything rocking!

I hope they have that little signature hook shot he does in the post. It almost looks like a floater b/c of how fast it is.

Re: Post Move Variety

I just hope they let a bigman be a bigman. I want to make my guy a big brute, not a fast, athletic center, but a guy who sacrifices those athletic attributes for a bulldozer
