Spike Lee Writes, Directs Story for NBA 2K16 MyCAREER Mode

Oh man, Spike hasn't made a good film in a while and I unfortunately expect this to be no different than his last few films (garbage), I am adopting a 'wait and see' approach for this years game until more info comes out.

There are other modes, just play Association or Myleague. I wouldn't let whether Spike has or hasn't made a good movie in recent years deter you from buying the game.

If anything, OS has showed me that you can't please everybody. If the mode had continued on it's previous path people would have complained that the mode had become stale and unimaginative. Switch things up and you get some who will say they're concerned. I'm more of a wait and see guy. Patience is a virtue my friends!

Seems like what it really comes down to (at least for me) is wanting enough freedom for my player to basically be a product of my own imagination, not being shoe horned into playing someone else's concept of they think is neat.

I had the same issue on a lesser level this year, basically being forced to be undrafted instead of being totally free to make it to the nba in my own way.

Nah, i disagree. I remember for a while before the mode got it's story mode a ton of people had sentiments that they enjoyed the mode, but they wanted smarter teammates and sliders. I don't remember anyone demanding some forced storyline. They could of continued the mode the way it was, and just improved on some of the aspects of it and i would of been good honestly.

They'd be better off having a my career story mode, and a normal my career mode since they seem insistent on forcing this storyline, at least give people the option to play without it and play how they want(which is what my player is all about anyway)

I will never be in the crowd that wants to follow a path that has already been created for you with a few minor twists and turns.

I just don't care about the fantasy role playing story mode.

In reality though the storyline for mycareer really took that game mode to new heights and idk guess im in the minority on here but I actually enjoy it more than the old mycareer. old mycareer got really boring me didn't even want to play anymore than 1 season.

You disagree that there are some people that like the story mode approach? So you're saying you CAN please everybody? I'm not buying that bro. Just because you don't remember it or haven't heard it doesn't mean it hasn't happened. If that's the case your second paragraph makes no sense. If no one likes the story mode approach, why even include it? Lol
