I may have to agree. Live has some promise with their game play this year. I mean yeah the game looks horrid, but the game play may just make up for it. They're surprisingly taking some chances, and trying to innovate. I'm hoping 2k takes some chances next year, and shows us why they're considered to be the ideal development team for basketball gaming.

See, and here in lies the problem of what I was mentioning. 2k has always looked more lifelike because of animations, but people complain that you're never fully in control. But that's what happens when you want it to look as close to the real product as possible w/o still looking like a game.
Live on the other hand always has felt like you were in more control, but the trade off is the jerkiness and the lack of smoothness to everything because they want to give you control. It's crazy, but I don't see this changing that much really anytime soon because the majority of people who want to play what they see on tv outnumbers the people who want to play a videogame.

Liked what I saw game wise, but their gameplay really took away from the experience. These are lobby guys I stay away from. But, thanks for showing us the game.

The whole player size/court ratio argument doesn't make sense to me. Looks perfect to me.

13, you bring up some good points. That "clunkiness" you speak of is just the momentum system they've incorporated since 2k11. The movement is the best it's ever been but I do agree it needs to be a bit easier to change direction and such. It's getting there though. The passing and other catch/gather animations I also agree are too slow from time to time.

Just another thing 2k can improve on from here on out.
