I feel like 23 absolutely nailed the Celtics court.
I imagine the arena lighting plays a role too. I think Celtics court would look a lot better with more accurate lighting instead of the blacked out crowd. I don't get why 2K would do that when I don't think the C's have ever used the black out lighting (maybe for a very brief time 2-3 years ago).

You aren't joking. That comparison demonstrates how much better this looks from 2k24.

Honestly, it's reason enough for me to get this game because the graphics for 2k24 tainted the experience for me from the beginning. It was like getting a new car that mostly functions better, but not liking the color or look of the car.

Now if they can just fix the lighting in the Celtics arena I'll be satisfied with the graphics. I predominantly play as the C's and it will drive me crazy.

Unless it's something easy to fix, then I doubt they'll make any meaningful arena lighting changes with a patch.

I'm okay with 'exaggerated' theatre lighting for the appropriate arenas, TBH.

Here’s it vs 2K23.

The lighting on the players is much better in 25, and the reflections are pretty true to real life. The only issue is the weird yellow/green tint to the floor.

Maybe that’s how the Bucks court will look in this upcoming season, idk, but if not then the courts need a little color correction.

Re: Graphics comparison: 2K23 vs 2K25

graphics are serviceable especially offline but for the love of GOD and all that is holy please please please any 2K devs reading this invest in making your menus better. the difference between the look and feel of menus aesthetically between something like madden and 2K is unforgivable. literally the most amateur looking menus of any AAA game. the most generic fonts .. there's no excuse -- 2K has been severely lacking in the department since forever.

Yeah that yellow green tint is an eye sore and I see it in every pic. It’s clearly a universal filter the uses. 23 uses a slight pink and smoky filter which looks good to me. Every time I see the pics of 23 vs 25 that overly yellow 25 looks stands out as more cartoony.

Yeah I don’t understand the blackout crowd. I want to see it in broadcast mode.

*CAN ANYONE LINK A VID TO LAKERS OR CELTICS HOME GAME IN BROADCAST MODE?*

That’d answer lots of questions.

Bucks court has been like 4 different colors in this thread alone…but that’s the tough thing about using screen grabs from multiple videos with varying quality to make these particular comparisons
