Thanks for trying them out.
Could you do additional tendencies, like for 3s, step back 3, pull up 3s, off screen 3s, and also the touches tendencies you recommend are confusing me

Hi - you certainly could make additional roster changes to adjust individual players or all players depending on what behaviors you are looking to see. I assume you are looking to get more 3 pointers of all varieties.

The Tendencies I list are just using the names in the screen when doing a mass update. From my list here are a few of them -

SCLOSE = Shooting Close
SMID = Shooting Midrange
SUSMID = Spot Up Shooting Midrange
OSSMID = Off Screen Shooting Midrange
CONTJMID = Contested Jumper Midrange

etc...

So "SCLOSE - 20" means I reduced the Shoot Close tendency for all players by 20.

Does this make sense?

Ah - I totally misread that. Got it. What I did to get the distribution reduced to the 70-30 range is tricky.

Edit all players. Highlight the entire Touches column. Sort low to high so you are looking at the low score on top of the column (this just makes it easier to see what you are doing). Right stick up until the lowest score is 60. Right now the range will be 100-60.

Then re-sort high to low so you are looking at the highest score at the top. Right stick down until the highest score is 70 (and the lowest score will be 30 since everyone just dropped 30 points). Now the range will be 70-30.

This compresses the Touches rating so there are no very high rated players and no very low rated players. The hope is to get a better distribution of touches to everyone.

But your stars will still get more touches and your scrubs will get a few also.

Better?

Couple more. CHI in the first, couldn't get anything going from 3 cost me.
2nd one playing as ATL gave them a pretty good beatdown..

Re: RES2 2K22 All Star Current Gen Sliders

Looks good.

I'm also playing with some ideas from another thread about lowering the defensive sliders and offsetting with lowered shooting sliders.

The idea is to get better movement and flow.

I'll post that slider adjustment in case you want to experiment. Not sure if I see enough difference in game play to be worth doing but it's an interesting idea.

It might mean fewer fouls called but that seems so dorked up anyway I may not worry about it if overall gameplay is good.

And it might not matter anyway.

I'll post those changes I'm playing with tonight.

Re: RES2 2K22 All Star Current Gen Sliders

Here are the changes I mentioned above. Not sure if I will stick with this approach of using much lower Defense sliders or not. It's an interesting experiment anyway.

I'm worried about too few fouls/free throws even more with this approach. But since that seem pretty broken anyway, may not worry about it too much.

To see this approach in full see J-Kits slider post. He has much lower Defense sliders than this with other adjustments to balance it out.
