ere is a thread to my sliders which
have specifically been tested with my community roster as well. Discussion for these can take place here. This is V5 (Movement Series 1/28/18)

V5 (MOVEMENT AND DEFENSIVE CONTEST FOCUS)
I believe this set gives users the Dynamic control to create, while not being so geared to one end of spectrum in any avenue of gameplay. For example Ive never been a fan of things like Driving contact or inside shot being absolute (Set at 100) IMO that is not realistic. I believe these sliders give a challenge while paired with my roster. (The ultimate challenge? No stay tuned for those sets to be released)

Key testings: I have Stealing at 100 because I really want Pokes/steal attempts/ All instances I want them to affect the handler or the ball. I have been seeing great animations. Even get some clean poke aways but a whistle is called just like IRL.

When I think of sliders and gameplay I think about tuning things so that the most options are available. Opening up gameplay all the flair and ugly scenarios of NBA hoops, AND 1's , Hot shooting streaks, Steals, Rebounding battles, Poster dunks, NBA level IQ, Good Defense , Good offense ECT..

Nice to see some changes to the sliders. Been using timsmooths roster and sliders pack but will give you're a whack today. Exciting times. Can't wait until you fully implement soniqs full tendencies

Your sliders are nice to play, you can get decent and realistic statistics.

There's however something that bothers me with the game (not with your sliders but with the entire game), is that it seems really hard, if not impossible, to score after a contested shot. They are obviously tougher, but when you watch a NBA game, a lot of time you get to see a player scoring a contested shot because he is in his zone. Yesterday for instance i was watching 76ers-OKC, a couple of times Embiid score from mid range on the left side even if Adams was just in front of him because he will score a lot of them in this position. And how many times did we see Kobe or MJ scoring from mid range with 2 players in front of them ? haha

So do you know a way to tweak the game so that player can score even if they are contested (but not as much as when they're open obviously). I was thinking about lowering the shooting attributes AND the on ball defense but i don't know...

If I am understanding correctly. You are upset with players not being able to hit their contested jumpers. Secondly you are also upset that they are missing from spots in which you see them hit shots IRL?

Fixes for you: you can edit a players hotspot zones in the player edit menu. To your liking.

Another suggestion and tip. I recently turned the Jump shot gather D strength to 100. I watched some footage And really really liked how it affected the game. The animations that it brings out on the defense and their closeouts with a purpose. The contested shot animations. Let alone its impact on offensive players..

Lowering this will lower the punishment offensive players receive.(Thus increasing contested makes)

Another thing you could do is raise human offensive consistency to 63 , if guys make shots they will pick up a real rhythm

lower jump shot release defense for cpu to allow you as a user to have less of a penalty on contested shots.
