Re: Strategy sliders (NBA 2K11-esque)

Game feels like 2K11, I love it. My only problem, and it is very minor is the amount of offensive rebounds and shots the CPU takes; then again Brook Lopez is rated 59 Rebound, Garnett 80 opposed to Boozer 91 and Noah whose pretty high as well. Should have changed my PoE to "Crash Defensive Glass".

On another note, when I lost to the Bulls, I couldn't make one three, I was 0/5 from three point. Couldn't get any good looks, totally different game than the Jazz game. Fourth quarter was a battle, we went into the 4th with Nets 65, Bulls 62. Bulls got out in front 96-85; the game was gridlocked at 96-85 for awhile until the Bulls got an And1 with Noah in the final two minutes and I eventually lost 103-87. Should have been 101-87, as there was 26 seconds on the clock, damn CPU is so unsportsmanlike hitting a layup. Love the feel of the game.

The Jazz game was awesome. First quarter 31-18, half was 44-41. I had control the entire game and won 87-83.

Hope these sliders work out for you guys. These sliders are just 2K11 Simulation style.

I tried these sliders in Allstar difficulty.
Too inside play yet, too blocks (User side) and CPU made all shots.

I do not find for the moment some sliders oriented simulation, real game with of mid-range shots, post players game and CPU missed.

Poke's sliders can to be the good (in looking last screen).

To each his own. I see a good game of basketball being played here. I see A LOT of post play, especially with the Look For Post Players tendency set to 80. Boozer was utilized a lot and brought out a chess match. Bringing in a double team in the post, he would kick it to the open man on the perimeter. I loved it.

I will go to try in Superstar difficulty.
I think that the CPU will go to be stronger yet on shots success and inside drives.

How to limit the CPU inside drives ?
I would like a laid game without artifices but with a human side.

With the sliders the way they are on contact and defense, inside scoring is very hard. Bulls got 5 offensive rebounds in a row and none of their layups would fall with Lopez and Garnett's presence in the paint. It was a fun fight until Noah finally got the lay in. I even have trouble in the post and I love it! Superstar is the way to go. I also loved how Boozer missed a few midrange shots wide open (on Superstar). Very good balance.

On the paper it makes you want.

How many blocks on totality (User/CPU) ?
Do you play on 12 minutes quarters ?
