Yeah, every game release has preorder options nowadays. Standard practice. MLBTS is not an outlier here

I probably should have worded my post differently. I didn’t mean they had taken the year off. I just meant that maybe the big changes will be coming in the next version and that this game is the bridge to that.

I honestly was thinking it would be Vlad Sr or Big Papi on the Collector's Edition due to the reveal video.

Nothing against those guys, but I'm so glad that they went this direction and am really excited for this case to be on display within my collection.
