Mitch Moreland has always been a beast for me in The Show. I think it's because his potential has been rated too high the last couple years so he becomes a .300 hitter with 20 homers pretty quickly.

Going to pick the dbacks.

I always sim the first season, and then I start working on the team the way I see fit. "Fire" Kevin Towers, rebuild the farm system, and dump all of the BS he acquired.

I will start with my favorite team, the Yankees.

As for my usual "Try to turn a small market team into a power house" franchise, I might pick the Blue Jays or Marlins.

I'm taking the Cleveland Indians, and completely wiping the slate clean with a total rebuild. The thing that has me the most excited, is now I feel like I can take my TIME, since when the next MLB comes out, I can keep GOING!

I will only play with my Reds, as I have never had any interest in playing with any other team than my favorite team in any sports game. I also play quite a few of the minor league games with the Reds minor league teams.

When the game comes out in May hopefully the OSFM roster is out and I will start my Rays franchise. If they aren't out yet I will start up a test franchise with a top team just to get a feel for it.

Re: What Team are you Planning on Using and first actions

I will surely have to wait for the OSFM roster and then I will start up my franchise with my defending World Champs the Boston Red Sox...

Within the first year I'll establish Bogaerts and Bradley Jr's being in the majors as well as Middlebrooks, enjoy the final year(s) from Ortiz, Gomes(maybe) and probably Lackey and Peavy to make way for the youngings... I'm very excited for all the young players to get the majors since there are a lot of them on the horizon.

One position I will have to be on the search for is a closer. Koji will most likely just finish out the year and from there who knows. Most of the other positions however I will look in-house.

I see my DH spot after Ortiz being a question too. He's been there for over a decade, who will fill those shoes? At least now I can use that spot to give my players a rest from the field. If Napoli continues to hit well he'll be one of the guys to slot in there regularly.
