Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread

Currently 33-27 in MLB 12 with the Marlins. 6 back in the division, 2.5 back in the wildcard. Rangers are 8 back in the division, 5.5 behind the wildcard. I want to trade for Kinsler. That way Profar can get more playing time and I get an improvement over Infante. Is trading LoMo for Kinsler straight up too little? Also Giants are 10 games back(Rockies dominating) and I was wondering if Annibal Sanchez for Lincecum would be a good trade. Sanchez is 5-3 with an 4.3 ERA and last I checked Linceecum was 2-2 with a 4.55 ERA.

Well, neither trade is realistic, since both Sanchez and Kinsler were just signed/extended. I also think you need to give up more substantially since Kinsler >> Morrison, and Sanchez > Lincecum. Not sure what pieces you could offer though..

Well, remember these are last year's rosters so this was before Sanchez got an extension and before Lincecum was terrible. I guess that doesn't change the Kinsler trade though.

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread

hey guys, i will be starting up my braves franchise here in a few and will put beachy in the rotation. I'm going to manually injure Venters and O'Flaherty so I will be on the lookout for some high leverage late inning relief help. Also looking for some 3B help if possible too. To do this, I want to deal Maholm. Any suggestions on what I could get in return?

Ranaudo is a start though. I say Ranaudo and Brentz/Kalish as well as maybe a C in Kuery De la Rosa. You can probably get back a solid reliever, which something the Sox need.
my bad, I think he's a mid B in the osfm rosters I have. If he's an A then you're right, it's probably too much for Garza.

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread

Starting my second season with the astros and I need a backup catcher. I am trying to get Christian Bethancourt from the Braves and his value is a low B. I can offer Brett Phillips who is a low B. Is this enough?

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread

AC....back on that deal with the Phillies you asked for Lee's stats. Here they are:

15-3, 2.75 ERA, 187 K, 1.17 WHIP...ballin lol

Halladay:

12-10, 4.41 ERA, 167 K, 1.40 WHIP.

Safe to say I wont be getting Lee with those stats. Why dont I take Halladay and add Mayberry Jr to the deal since you said it wasn't enough as is.

Mayberry: .297, 27 HR, 92 RBI ......damn nvm that wont be happening either hahahah

So what else could I get that would be fair. Ill list everyone stats involved in the total deal

To Phillies:
Encarnacion - .415, 52 HR, 131 RB
Colvin - .252, 16 HR, 51 RBI
Nolin - 5-3, 4.23 ERA, 1.65 WHIP, 72 K (18 AAA starts)

To Blue Jays:
Ruiz - .297, 20 HR, 73 RBI
Young - .316, 3 HR, 46 RBI
Halladay - 12-10, 4.41 ERA, 1.40 WHIP, 167 K
Papelbon - 1-3, 3.05 ERA, 1.16 WHIP, 59 K, 49/54 (Saves)
Ruf - .270, 25 HR, 87 RBI, 6 SB (126 games AAA)
