And I'm not sure we can say they are baby steps. You and I have personally seen what it takes to make this game work like it does. Tedious, repetitive work in front of a computer monitor until they get it right. They are putting more and more into this game and the fact sheet, which isn't all inclusive, is amazing.

Remember the dev doing the lighting? How many monitors did he have in front of him, how many keyboards, how many controllers? Amazing to watch.

It's not copy and paste folks.

Bring on '10!

Jim, wasn't Knight there with you last year? I am sure he knows what it takes to make this game too. So who is right you or him?

If I was stuck on a desert island with nothing but the Show for 50 years, it would not become stale.

Re: MLB '10: The Show Fact Sheet

I think what people forget is that sports games, unlike war games or shooter games, can;t just change the background and add a few new enemies or guns and call it a brand new game. For example Call of Duty....basically very similar gameplay with new areas of the world. I am not saying they don't make the game better, but if you make the same amount of changes to a sports title, but are allowed to change the scenery in a war game, which change will look more dramatic.

I am very excited about 10 and look forward to hearing more about the changes to franchise as well.

Just curious...what type of adds would have made you say "OMG...I must have this"?

Well, I have a friend who got 52 weeks off this year...but he wasn't too happy about it. I'll try to explain the The Show angle to him.

Just out of curiosity is the Home Run Derby available in Road To The Show, maybe Russel could answer that if not already answered. Also is that blocking part of playing Catcher in RTTS gonna make it in because I hope so...I think it would be a lot of fun to play as a catcher and have to block the balls in the dirt and what not.
