Reading the article It doesn't sound like u have the option to close retractable roofs just from the fact It was not mentioned. Do you guys think this will be in? Im shocked this option hasn't been in a game yet and to me you need this to make this game as authentic as possible as Its huge part of the presentation.

I also hope that we can use the pitcher cam where your facing the catcher online instead of the generic camera that they have used for years.

I thought It was a good and props to SCEA for putting in the option for 30 team franchise and control injuries via real life like I would but another thing I hope gets included is rain delay's where If a game on the real MLB schedule is rained out you can put where the make up date is and or if no make up date is announced right away you can put It has TBA and put It in later

I am just saying that there are certain features that some of they great MLB show players on here have been asking for since 2006 and they still haven't done them...Why?
Why don't you PM them? You think we know? Or do you just want people to jump on the "why" bandwagon?

I do know how difficult it is to incorporate somethings into what they are working with. Russell already explained the long dreds, so if you really want to ask "why" you are asking the wrong people.

You know if your going out to San Diego to preview the game like you did last year? You and Knight are the official residential experts of 'MLB The Show' franchise and I really respect you guys opinion when it comes to this game.

Agreed.

Not being a dev and all, I am sure we could answer with some common sense.

I will give it shot.

They do a remarkable job with this game. Adding the thousands of little things etc. The dev cycle is probably 8-10 months. That isn't a whole lot of time. The list of things we ask for is massive, seems almost endless. They have to pick and choose what they can put into the game, with the allotted time, while working on other things they had on the list to make it all seem fresh every year. And whether or not it will take from other areas at the time, and be a smoother implementation. It is called prioritizing.

IMO they are doing a great job adding things with with the time and resources they have. To me they are one of the more talented dev houses. Every year the game much improves. There is not many games out there, especially sports games that can say the same.

Think of it this way. Somethings just don't work, may not work like they want. It's like trying to get Windows XP programs to run in Vista. Wouldn't it be nice?

First release of the screens made time slow down... learning that everythings realtime and the every other detail literally stopped time for me, now months before the release are going to be killer.
