Would this be the proper place to list missing players that are on the opening day roster, but missing from this latest roster?

Re: MLB The Show 2013- Operation Sports Full Minors V.2-Opening Day Edition

Another noob here, looking for help

I want to do 30 team control but can't figure out this '2 profiles' thing.

When i enter the franchise setup, do i click 'select all'? Or is it that i pick my team and then after progressing select the 'control all teams' option?

How do i set up two profiles?

Sorry if I'm being dense

You are correct....
Hernandez was on the FA list...
Just an oversight.

Who do you have?

I feel like a jerk ask for more after these amazing roster efforts, but it would be awesome to have a walkthrough on how to start a franchise if anyone had five minutes to throw it together.
No problem...

Here is what I do

-Create 3 profiles
--Knight165...this one has everything to MANUAL for my Mets
--CPU1.....this one has everything to AUTO except for LINEUPS/ROSTER MOVES and WAIVERS...JUST TO START THE SEASON....it will be changed on day 1 of the regular season
--CPU2....This one has everything to AUTO except LINEUPS....this is for when I play a particular team and want a specific lineup in the season.
--In GAMEPLAY OPTIONS...have INJURIES to MANUAL for all 3 profiles...and then with CPU1 "loaded" on the USER SETTINGS screen....hit the USE AS DEFAULT menu option(this turns on manual injuries for the other teams)

-When starting the franchise...choose to control all 30 teams...assign Knight165 to your team....and assign CPU1 to all the others...
-At various tiimes during Spring Training.....dole out the manual injuries to the players...(LIKE RIPNER STATED.....IF YOU DO IT AT SPRING TRAINING....THE PLAYERS LIKE JETER AND TEX WILL GET PUT BACK TO THE MLB LEVEL...(despite they are listed as Single A in the base set)...the CPU sees them as MLB level during ST.
-On the last day of Spring Training send the players on the lists I provided(double check them before you even start a franchise...I was really tired when typing....there might be an error...I hope not...check the Yanks in particular) to the level that I have listed. This will keep the CPU from having to make any decisions and should keep lineups as is.
-Start the regular season...and leave the profiles as is...just until the waiver period is over(wait until that first Saturday)....and then go into PROFILE 2 and put ROSTER MOVES and WAIVERS back to AUTO(I put lineups as well...but if you want "perfect lineups" all year long....keep them as manual(remember injuries and trades(if you put injuries back on) will make the CPU make roster moves and you'll have to adjust the lineups

-If you put the lineups to AUTO like me.....and don't worry about CPU vs CPU games....then you use CPU2 to set the lineups of the team you are about to face for a series.....assign it to the team coming up and set the lineup as you want to face....when you are done with that series....give the team CPU1 and give the next team on your schedule CPU2...and so on.

-If you worry about trades.....remember to check the PENDING TRANSACTIONS screen each day and cycle the teams.....

-DON'T FORGET.....you have to manually injure the player AND put him on the DL(15/60) when you give the injury.....when they heal...the CPU will assign them from there....

That's about it.

I was curious about that too. However he should be on this weeks SCEA roster update so there shouldn't be a need for the one we created as we can just import the SCEA version.

You can create the profile either outside or when you start a franchise.
It's the CREATE option.....by USER SETTINGS.

The important thing is to choose all 30 teams when you start(the check boxes next to the teams) and DO NOT use the CPU ROSTER CONTROL option(it comes on the next screen....it shuts off trades and injuries...it's a legacy option that should have been removed when they added 30 team control)

When you go to USER SETTINGS(inside franchise) you will see the CREATE option....the MODE options are you GM duties....and in GAMEPLAY OPTIONS...is you injuries options(OFF/ON/MANUAL)

Use the PROFILE ASSOCIATION menu to assign/re-assign profiles to any team.

You can go back and edit the options for any profile in the USER SETTINGS screen...cycle the profiles using the R1/R2 buttons and go into the MODE or GAMEPLAY sections to change...change the saves on the way out.

Use the USE AS DEFAULT button when you want the options to apply to the CPU teams....so load the CPU profile...and hit USE AS DEFAULT.
