I really dont see the point because you are making the game less realistic if you are changing players to fit were they hit in the lineup, b/c then you'll have grady siezmore who hits like .268, hitting .336??? how is that MORE realistic???
Dude what the hell is your problem. If you don't like the rosters tweaked then use another set.

.289, .290, .277, and .268, his batting averages the last four years.

AND

Player's batting averages fluctuate. It's not "unrealistic" to see players who hit .270ish have a season above .300, although it's not likely. BIG difference.

Re: Ridins Rosters

Power numbers, steals, runs scored usually stay the same. I'd say batting average and, theoretically, RBIs are the most likely to fluctuate.

Just curious Ridin, any idea how many players' ratings you've had to tweak to get the lineups right? Are we talking a handful, 50, 100+? It sounded like you had to do a lot of edits to get the Indians' lineups fixed. Was that more the exception than the rule?

Ridin, will you be releasing your set onto the Roster Vault?

Re: Ridins Rosters

UPDATE...

THE SET SHOULD BE READY TOMMOROW NIGHT AT SOME POINT...I WILL POST IT HERE AND ON ROSTER VAULT.

AS FOR THE TWEAKS....ALL THE TWEAKS HAVE HAD LITTLE EFFECT ON SIMMED STATS...SO BIGAL THIS ONES FOR YOU

SIZEMORE....UNTWEAKED 3 SEASONS SIMMED

322 33 122
312 38 111
311 50 155

SIZEMORE TWEAKED..NOT INCLUDING PREVIOUS SATS POSTED

313 31 99
288 27 88
319 35 104

SO YOU SEE ITS ALOT OF RANDOMNESS AND I WOULD TAKE THE STATS IN THE TWEAKED VERSION OVER THE STOCK RATINGS WHERE A LEADOFF HITTER DRIVES IN 155 RUNS...CAUSE THAT AINT HAPPENING...

The 50 home runs stuck out, too. Good tweaks!

Re: Ridins Rosters

I'm pretty surprised to see Sizemore's average based on his rating as-is is that high. 50 home runs seem like a lot, but considering the way his power has slowly developed, I wouldn't be surprised at all to see him hit 50 at some point.
