Ridins Rosters

Why are we even worrying about bats and gloves at this point? That's ridiculous. No wonder these rosters take months to come out. The first, main, and only priority should be getting the minor leaguers created and their ratings correct. The rest of that other crap can come later with future versions. I'm tired of waiting to start my Franchise, and this thread may have been my breaking point. There is no reason why the roster creators should be tinkering with glove colors for Version 1. I may have to just pick an old roster and go with it. Forget it.

Great, so here is my plan. I am going to G-D willing do this by team. I am going to create a separate post for each particular team as I do this.

One more thing before I start. Clark (D-backs) uses a pine bat & has no pine tar on his hemet. Davies (Royals) uses a brown glove.

That's why Ridin is in fact not doing the leg work. I am. If I post the info on bats & gloves (for the most part I am on purpose not posting the other body equipment edits I would like to add to the roster) in a manner that is in orderly fashion, the additional time this may involve at the most would maybe come out to an hour or two at the most.

The time consuming aspect of this is in the research, not the actual changing of it in the roster. If you are going to make a fuss about a one or two hour delay that this will entail, that's of course your right. If Ridin feels this hour or two delay in a roster release is more harmful than having accurate bats & gloves, then let him tell me so & I will stop.

Is this a fair enough idea for you?

For all 30 teams and 25 starters rough stuff not fun at all .
Back and fourth from espn .com as they have updated pics each days
Certain teams like the Cubs only use old batting helmets , yanks are greyed .
Drives me nuts seeing wrong #s , bats ect and I cant fix Jeters left arm sleeve and Wb
I will definatly edit this full blown after the release lineups up to date also.

Maybe he has a point ? As they do take along time to do correctly im not just doing bats and gloves .

I don't know if you've seen it Schmooz, but I've posted the Cards equipment in the "Birds on the Bat" thread. That might save you some time.

As far as my sources go, I've watched the majority of the games this year and have been taking notes on equipment, so it's about as accurate as it can get (in my humble opinion).

The only thing that bums me out is the lack of multicolored bats. Many Cards, including Pujols, use a black barrel, pine colored handled bat. I know it's nitpicking, but it's something I'd like to see nonetheless.

So it's fair to say that there will be 2 versions of this? Just the roster stuff done by ridin and wookie and then a version with the appearance edits? Or will it not be released til you're done with it?
