Question about displaying the strike zone and Inside Edge

Here's what I want: I want to see the Inside Edge zones when I'm pitching. When I'm batting, I don't want to see the strike zone at all.

In the options, for strike zone display, there's options for "Always", "Never", and "Batter". If I select "Never", I lose Inside Edge when I'm pitching. Yes, I know I can use the D-pad to bring up Inside Edge when I'm pitching, but I find that annoying.

Is there any way to have my cake and eat it too?

I never really thought about it but that would be a nice option. Or even having the strike zone turned off altogether while batting. I can't see it getting touched this year but hopefully it's something they can look into for next year.

Speaking of Inside Edge, why is it when pitching the hot/cold zones only show for first pitch to batter in Franchise mode? I am pretty sure it was always on for Play Now mode. Is there a way to always have the hot/cold zones shown?
