Mostly I can get back...but a couple of times.....I did get nailed.

Thank you, Sir!

I with they wouldn't make these so automatic, but not an end of the world type problem.

I guess I should have asked this also, are you limited to a two step lead off second or can you extend to 3 or 4? I believe last year, you could only take a maximum of two steps.

Just to throw my experience out there. I did NOT see this. In fact, I stole second twice off of Halladay, mainly because he didn't throw over once when I was taking a 4 step lead. Stole second with Gardner and Granderson. Maybe different pitchers throw over more? I don't know. Just going by my games against Halladay.

Maybe I'm not understanding what he originally wanted me to do.
Once my lead hit 4 steps....the CPU threw over....but now that you asked me about hitting 3 or 4 extra steps....I don't think I was doing what you were asking...because I was not limited to just two steps.
Sorry, I didn't play this last year...so I don't know what the problem was stemming from 2K9.
I tried to watch if the runner took a standard 1 or 2 step lead...then hit it either 3 or 4 times(which I was able to do)

It's already been announced that it won't be out until the 4th (meaning post-release). Apparently an issue on Sony's end.

That's insane, the same thing happened to the MLB 10 The Show demo too, we were strung on to believe it was going to be out week after week, and to no avail it never showed up. Now "it's an issue on sony's end" ridiculous. Thanks for the update though, I wasn't aware.

I've played a lot since last night with my internet being wonky. It's certainly a lot better than last year but, I just don't find the game very exciting. The fielding with the high assist is just so completely boring. I have to wonder how much they really fixed and how much they just hid away, I still see stuff occasionally like a guy facing one way and throwing another that makes me think the underlying issues would still be there if we had full control. The other thing is hit variety, lots of homers, lots of weak liners that go right to infielders, not enough of everything else. On the plus side the actual pitching and hitting mechanics are still good, CPU batter AI seems better to me.

I totally agree. Any ground ball hit, the CPU fields it for you. All you have to do is make the throw.
