Hopefully, but I highly doubt it.

I'm really guessing that's part of it, but a confirmation would be nice.

Very impressive trailer. I can't wait to see some gameplay videos. The graphics look nice as well.

Nice trailer... They really need to fix how the uniform fits to the players... need to make it more baggy... other than that, nice animations..

Looking good! Happy VC has taken over the reigns. We could be blessed with 2 games this year.

I want to know how the PS3 game will compare with the XBOX 360 version.

exciting stuff!

Re: Major League Baseball 2K10 Sizzle Trailer

I downloaded the trailer this morning at Game Trailers and went through it frame-by-frame. The wait for actual game play footage is killing me, but I did notice a handful of new things.

-Player models are definitely better. The cloth physics are closer to 2K7/2K8 than 2K9 (a good thing) and while there is still room for improvement, faces are also better.

-Uniform lighting is still off in places. The Red Sox batting helmet is a deep navy (nearly black) in real life, but it looks a lighter shade of blue in the trailer.

-Working scoreboards. Nice.

-Nick Swisher rounds first while looking into right; it's a nice touch. Did base runners track the ball in the outfield last year?

-The trailer shows three results of a defensive swing; a foul, a swing and a miss and a hit into play.

-Abreu's leaping play at the wall happens in a night game (his body casts multiple shadows). Night lighting is much, much better than last year.

-Lots of new throws and smoother animations. The trailer is recorded at 30fps, by the way - it misses half the frames the game renders.

-Stadium improvements - there are tons.

-I am concerned about hit variety - most seem to go up the middle or into the alleys. Chase says he ripped a double down the line that bounced around in the corner... but I am a little worried.

I love the way players look and move in 2k sports games. Something about their animation system and attention to detail is incredible. It's videogamish but it's also real. Hard to explain. They get certain movements and sig stuff down better than anyone. The music was a good choice too. Game looks fun if 2k doesnt drop the ball in some area which they probably will.
