Re: All Time MLB 2k12 Rosters

This is a really cool project.
Other 99 overall suggestions: Ken Griffey Jr (Mariners), Nolan Ryan, Randy Johnson, Pedro Martinez, Mike Schmidt, Trevor Hoffman
Players that should be improved (close to a 95): Pete Rose, Joe Morgan, Billy Wagner (Astros)

One thing I noticed is that current players are getting much higher rankings than they should. Is Elvis Andrus really only 8 overall points behind A-rod in his prime and a couple behind Nomar? Hell no. Current players that make it, minus the really really good ones (Miguel Cabrera, Pujols, etc.) shouldn't be even in the 80s. If you're a good/great player now, but not on your way to a hall of fame career, then your ratings shouldn't compete.
Another idea to get accurate ratings for players is to check old games (MVP series, games on the N64) and see what their overalls were on those games, and it gives you a pretty good guideline and model for the player ratings. I really think this project is cool and hope something comes out of it.

Griffey is a 98 I believe, so is Roy Halladay, Mickey Mantle, Ty Cobb, A-Rod (Mariners),Nolan Ryan (Texas), Grover Cleveland Alexander, Dwight Gooden, Pujols, Honus Wagner, Randy Johnson (D-Backs), Sandy Koufax, Barry Bonds (Giants), and Christy Mathewson.

I also understand the current/former scale, and I have to sort of take potential into account because people like Tony Conigliaro were dominant at the time, but something got in the way....same goes for Alfonso Soriano....

If you get a chance could you put up a screenshot or something so I see how the player models look?
