I don't know what to tell you, I haven't had that experience. Just lucky I guess.

I never had problems getting pressure or putting moves on the OL but im still tweaking my sliders and somehow now my DL is glued to the OL even though I've lowered the PB slider to below where they were Lol...very temperamental game.

Re: Madden NFL 25 Impressions Thread

pros

-new madden game
-touchdown celebrations are okay except for a few times I see the guy not celebrate at all before the td cutscene celebration comes up

cons

-presentation is a joke both quick game and CFM ( no drive summary, doesn't show individual rankings, no cool statistics)
- commentary is horrific and boring
- touchdown celebrations need work on
- running is way too easy especially on goalline
- passing is way too accurate
- offensive line is way too overpowered (Miami's rushing defense is one of the top and it still can't break o line when playing all madden against Arizona cardinals CPU)
- CPU AI NEEDS COMPLETE OVERHAUL. ALL MADDEN CHEATS WAY TOO MUCH. ***
- no defensive personalities
- franchise should have option to reduce the time of games cpu play in so user can actually compete in the leaderboards in every statistic(defensive tackles, rush/pass tds, yards, etc).
-franchise needs to be better in presentation. Where are the half time shows, the ticker for other games playing???
-NEED A HALFTIME SHOW SIMILAR TO 2k5

Hopefully all of this can be addressed in madden 25 next gen consoles. Finally xbox one will support Blu Ray dual layer in which are 50 gb in size. This current gen only has 8.5 gb used for both ps3 and xbox 360. Imagine what they can do with that much disk size.

Re: Madden NFL 25 Impressions Thread

my favorite madden game so far since 05. last one i bought was 09. i only play on pro setting and i do not see some of the drawbacks that strayed me away from madden for all these years. like the super human plays and the suction defense. the dive tackles for the ankles can be a little quick sometimes but i can live with that.

online has been 50/50 for me. when there is lag its bad when not its good. the way some people play on there is another thread.

i like the ultimate mode but the packs are a bit expensive. take you a week to save up for one.

the only gripe is the lag and slowdown with this game on the ps3. its "maddening".

Re: Madden NFL 25 Impressions Thread

After playing about 30 or so games, I am extremely happy with the purchase of this game.

I can't put it down for some reason. I'm Madden whipped. lol

Re: Madden NFL 25 Impressions Thread

Just got my game in the mail and first impression is that navigating through the menu seems a lot smoother than before. Using custom sliders and getting pretty good results so far. Just need to get the roster updated so i can start my franchise mode

Re: Madden NFL 25 Impressions Thread

Ok...mixed feeling so far. Like the open feel of the game reminds me of 2k5. Some of the cut scenes do get old get old and repetitive after awhile. QB are too acc even if you put a kicker in their spot. Havent touched sliders yet. All madden can be touch to stop on running plays if you slip up.

Re: Madden NFL 25 Impressions Thread

More annoyances that should be fixed/patched yesterday:

Ok it's nice that we can share player & CPU sliders but I think I liked it better when all sliders were part of the profile - it's kind of annoying that we have to load and save the sliders separatetly. Furthermore, when doing slider edits we have to save the sliders right away or all choices are undone. And there's no quick save involved, so you have to select a slider file from the menu.

There's nothing on the roster screen that tells us what roster we're currently in. We should be able to see what roster, sliders, etc. are associated with our profile on one place in the menu.

When deleting files, and we select a file to delete, WHY CAN'T IT JUST DELETE THAT FILE? But no matter what we choose, we get kicked out to the PS3 menu and have to scroll to find that file a second time!!! What IDIOT designed that??!!

Main menu interface: Why is so much real estate being taken up with things like Madden Ultimate Team and redeeming codes? When I first loaded up the game, practice was under this tiny icon called "OTHER" modes.

Why does music have to play during the training and practice modes? Seriously, it's distracting and there should be a way to turn it off without turning off ALL speaker sounds.
